Everyone make their choice based on their habits. Good habits or healthy habits are very hard to follow but bad habits we adapt unknowingly. Bad habits keeps us in our comfort zone and start driving our life. It limits our potential and make us depressed.

Think positive

Once Buddha said “We are what we think”. Positive thinking always change the view of reality. A powerful man is not the one who wrestle, A powerful man is the one who believe in himself in negative times. A strong believer is always better than a weak believer, though in both are good skill wise.

Negative thinking results in anger very easily. Health study shows that anger can raise your chance of a stroke, put your heart at a greater risk and weakens your immune system. Positive thinking helps in higher your self esteem, increase the number of more enjoyable interaction with others, Slower aging, maintaining relationship and reducing stress level.

By thinking positive so called “Law of attraction” will also work in your favor. Law of attraction work on fundamental that positive vibes attract positive things. Positive mindset people are less likely to suffer from depression and they get ill more rarely than negative thinkers.

Drop the scale

Mostly People who follow healthy diet or exercise routine have a common problem that they have a habit of tracking the progress each day. It make them frustrate when results are not in favor. Change in body shape or weight loose is a process which take some time and so much dedication.

Mental health also important as physical. I will recommend to check the progress once a week on same time with your photos. Numbers on machine can not be visualize that how much we improved our body but if you take photos, you can compare yourself with past week. It will surely help you track your progress.

 
Stop drinking empty drinks

We are habitual to have the cold drinks/soft drink to refresh our self. It contain, sodium, potassium, carbohydrate, caffeine, sugar in excess level and no vitamin. Do you know it can result in Weight increase, Bone weakness,Diabetes, stress and even migraine or memory loss problems by continuous consumption. So stop consuming this and start drinking lemon or coconut water. This can benefit you in multiple ways.

I will recommend you to drink lemon water in morning as well just after waking up to detox your body. If you are suffering from Sore throat , cough, cold flue problem then add some honey in lemon water.  It will glow your skin and will keep you hydrated.

Make sleep a priority

“Oh Wow, I already have this habit. I can sleep day in or day out 😉 ”  Just wait a second. I am asking to have a adequate sleep, neither deprive it nor oversleep. It is recommended to practice sleep early part of night and wake up early in the morning. Science research shows, going to bed early can help in maintain a healthy weight, stay more productive, and avoid serious health problem such as diabetes,obesity, and heart diseases. Make a fixed schedule to sleep and wake up.

There’s a delicate hormonal balance that exists within your body, especially when it comes to sleeping. Thus, establish a routine of sleeping and waking up at the same time. It will allow your sleep-related hormonal levels to be in balance and leveled. 

There are actually studies showing that people who have irregular sleep schedules tend to confusing up their circadian rhythm and it results in their body not knowing when to release the hormones that make you feel sleepy or awake, at the correct times. This is why a lot of people who sleep a lot of hours but don’t have a routine, tend to feel tired and out of energy during the day.

No joke, falling asleep and waking up at the same time every day has been one of the most impactfull things that can skyrocket your productivity and health within the last 6-8 months. Even on off days, when you go to sleep late, your body will wake up at the same time and you won’t even feel tired, so it’s an easy schedule to maintain and once you get into this routine it will feel super natural.

Be more mindful of food

Water comes in mouth when we think about rasgulla, ice cream, fried snacks. Most of us don’t even know that whatever we are going to eat, is really required to our body or not. We need to control sugar and salt, avoid fried food consumption, Eat more vegetable in every meal. Stomach should full with 1/3rd food, 1/3rd liquid, 1/3rd breathe.

Make a habit to eat slow and chew food more which help in digestion. Normally brain will take 20 minute to identify that you are full. Mindfull eating or healthy diet can help you reduce over eating and binge eating, loose weight, reduce BMI and reduce anxious thought about your body and food. Educate yourself regularly on your food, calory, carbs, protien, Vitamin or nutrition you intake.

Sweating and moving your body

This is the most important part of every kind of lifestyle. Our body is meant to move. You need to sweat, you need to pump your lymphatic system that is what going to pumps the toxin and get them out of body . I know, lot of times we don’t feel like exercising or we don’t feel like moving some days but once you start doing it, you get those endorphin flowing and you feel so much better.

So find something you enjoy doing. It doesn’t have to be totally intensive everyday but at least going for a walk, doing yoga, riding bicycle or anything you like. You just need to find something you enjoy. I recommend it because if you enjoy, it will make you feel motivated to do it every single day.

People who smile become more healthy and have a longer life than those who don’t. They seems more approachable and confident. According to a study, person who smile reduce stress and depression.
